The Island of Tenerife has a wonderful climate and offers enormous contrasts and a wide variety of landscapes in its different areas. The Parador Canada del Teide is situated in the natural Cañadas del Teide crater which is more than 2,000 metres above sea level. It offers amazing views of the Teide cone, the Chaorra crater and the White Mountain.
It is the only building within the El Teide National Park resembling a mountain lodge with spacious guest rooms with terraces overlooking the volcano.
The in house restaurant specialises in regional cuisine serving dishes including Canary Islands stew, rabbit in salmorejo (a gazpacho-like sauce), papas arrugadas y mojos (potatoes in their skins served with typical dipping sauces) and the viejas sancochadas.
