The wonderful Hotel Maritim is enjoying a privileged setting right on the north coast of Tenerife. It finds itself in the outskirts of Puerto de la Cruz (3km) which can be reached within a few minutes. A shuttle service is offered. The Playa Jardín is 10 minutes away. The Maritim is a hotel with character. With its beautiful and picturesque garden areas that are covering a huge area, it is a place where guests can unwind in style, relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings.
There are four room types offered: the comfort rooms, the superior rooms, the junior suites and the suites. All of the accommodations have their own balcony with wonderful views of either the Atlantic or the garden areas, the pools and the Teide Mountain. To the standards count a mini bar, a radio, a telephone, a satellite TV, a hairdryer, a safe and an air conditioning. Those looking for pure luxury should book one of the two suites which are 90m2 in size, offer three balconies, one or two separate bedrooms and a kitchenette.
Guests can dine in one of the three bars that are housed within the hotel. The La Taberna has a magnificent panoramic terrace which can be closed during the winter months. The La Marea is an a la carte restaurant, also with terrace. Here guests will enjoy delicious meals or an alternative breakfast buffet. The Mar Océano is the hotels main restaurant which is serving meals in a buffet style. One indoor and two outdoor bars are featured. The indoor piano bar is called Bar Lovento and is ideal for a last drink at night. The Corsario is the main pool bar which is offering drinks and snacks. The bar Humbolt is also well worth a visit. It is set within gardens, has a wonderful rustic atmosphere and provides activities and competitions for you to spend some time.
Guests can choose between three pool areas. There is the main one with spectacular views of the sea, one that is set within the 40.000m2 of subtropical gardens and another one located on an upper level with a relaxing surrounding. Sports enthusiasts can play volleyball, handball, basketball and much more on the hotels sports field. Tennis courts, a mini golf course and a diving centre are also part of the sports facilities at the Hotel Maritim. Entertainment programmes and an animation team will keeps adults and children busy.
